This tender, barely sweet loaf is a customer favorite. A classic pain de mie is baked with a lid to keep the shape square, but we leave off the lid to allow for that billowy brioche-like top. Use it for sandwiches or your morning toast, and if you let it stale a bit it makes fantastic French toast!
